Do you offer financing?
Yes. Groundwork Structures offers multiple payment options to make purchasing your building as convenient as possible. We offer Rent-to-Own with no credit check, as well as traditional financing through third-party lenders for customers who prefer a credit-based financing option. Terms, approvals, and payment amounts vary based on the building and financing program selected.
Rent-to-own, no credit check
This is the route most people take on the lot. Approval doesn't hinge on a credit score, so a thin or bruised credit file isn't the end of the conversation. You pay monthly on the building you picked.
Traditional financing
If you'd rather run it through a lender, we work with third-party financing partners and it's underwritten on credit in the usual way. Which one makes more sense usually depends on how long you want to be paying and what your credit looks like right now.
What your payment actually is
It depends on the building and the program, so it isn't a number we can put on a page and have it be true for everyone. Pick a building — either one sitting on our lot or one built to your spec — and we'll quote the payment on that exact unit. Ask for a quote or text us and we'll send it back the same day.
Terms, approvals, and payment amounts vary based on the building and financing program selected. Financing is provided by third-party partners, not by Groundwork Structures.
How fast can I get my building?
Delivery times depend on whether you purchase an in-stock building or place a custom factory order. Most on-lot buildings can be delivered within 5–10 business days, and in some cases delivery may be available even sooner.
For custom factory orders, the typical production and delivery timeframe is approximately 3–4 weeks. Buildings with additional upgrades or packages—such as electrical, insulation, specialty framing, or other custom features—may require additional production time. Your sales representative will provide the most accurate estimated timeframe for your specific order.
Buying off the lot is the fast path
A building on our lot is already built. You can walk through it, put your hands on the door, and know exactly what's coming — there's no production queue in front of it, only scheduling and haul-out. That's the 5 to 10 business days. See what's on the lot right now.
Ordering from the factory
A custom order goes into production after it's placed, which is where the 3 to 4 weeks comes from. Upgrades stretch it: electrical, insulation, specialty framing and other custom work all add build time. Your sales rep gives you the estimate for your specific order rather than a generic one.
What moves the date
- In-stock versus factory order — the single biggest factor
- Upgrades and packages on a custom build
- Size of the building and how far it's going
- Whether the truck can get to the spot when it arrives — see site prep
Delivery and setup are free within 50 miles of our lot on SR 207 for on-lot buildings, and free to any Florida address for custom builds.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer a wide range of building sizes to fit everything from simple storage needs to workshops, garages, offices, and larger finished-building projects. Our standard building widths include 8', 10', 12', and 16', with select models available in lengths of up to 60 feet.
Available dimensions can vary depending on the building style, configuration, delivery location, and selected options. If you have a specific size in mind, we can help determine the best available configuration for your property and intended use.
How the width is measured
Worth knowing before you measure your spot. On 12' and 16' buildings the width is measured eave to eave, so the usable floor inside is 11'2" and 15'2" respectively. On 8' and 10' buildings the width is measured wall to wall, and what you see is what you get inside. Every unit on our lot that's affected by this says so on its card.
Sizes on the lot right now
What's physically on SR 207 today runs from a 10x16 up to a 16x44. Each one is photographed with its size and specs listed. Walk the lot from your phone.
If you're between sizes
Buy one size up. It's the single most common regret we hear, and the price difference is smaller than the difference in what fits. If nothing standard works for your spot, a custom order can be sized to it, or you can lay it out in the 3D builder and see the footprint before you commit.
Can I customize my building?
Absolutely. One of the biggest advantages of ordering through Groundwork Structures is the ability to customize your building around how you actually plan to use it.
You can customize features including siding and trim colors, roofing, window and door sizes and placement, interior layouts, lofts, porches, ramps, and other structural options. Select buildings can also be ordered with additional packages such as electrical, insulation, and other upgrades.
Whether you're looking for a basic storage building or a more heavily upgraded structure, our team can help you build the right configuration.
Start from a style, then change it
We're an authorized Stor-Mor dealer and build 25 styles — utility sheds, lofted barns, cabins, garages, workshops and metal buildings. Each style comes with its own standard spec sheet, and the customizing happens on top of that. See all 25 styles and what comes standard on each.
What people change most
- Siding and trim colors, and the roof color
- Door size and placement — walk door, double shop doors, roll-up
- Window count and where they sit
- Lofts, porches and ramps
- Interior layout for workshops and offices
- Packages such as electrical and insulation on select buildings
See it before you order it
Picking colors off a chart is guesswork. Our 3D builder lets you set the size, siding, trim, roof, doors and windows and spin the building around before anything gets built. When it looks right, send it over and we'll price that configuration.
Do I need a foundation or pad?
A concrete foundation or prepared pad is not required by Groundwork Structures for standard delivery. However, we strongly recommend having a reasonably level, accessible, and well-drained area prepared before your building arrives. A properly prepared site makes placement easier and helps provide better long-term support for the structure.
Depending on the building, property conditions, and local requirements, leveling blocks and tie-down anchors may be available or required separately. Customers are also responsible for confirming any foundation, anchoring, permitting, setback, or site-preparation requirements established by their local city or county.
What a good spot looks like
- Reasonably level. The flatter the ground, the easier the set and the better the building sits over time.
- Drains. Standing water under a building is the thing that shortens its life. Pick the high side of the yard if you have one.
- Reachable. The delivery truck and trailer have to get to the spot. Gates, fences, low branches, soft sand and tight corners are all worth checking before delivery day, not on it.
Blocks and anchors
Depending on the building, your property and local requirements, leveling blocks and tie-down anchors may be available or required separately. Tell us about the site and we'll tell you what your building needs.
Permits are yours to confirm
Rules differ from one city and county to the next, and they change. Confirming any foundation, anchoring, permitting, setback or site-preparation requirement with your local building department is the customer's responsibility — we don't publish a permit rule here, because a rule that's right for one county can be wrong for the one next door. Call your county before you order and you'll never have to move a building twice.
